Origin Story
MFI Realty is an independent real estate brokerage firm founded by David Wallace. We specialize in helping apartment investors maximize their investment and simplify the buying and selling process.
David started as a multifamily broker in 2020, shortly after earning his MBA from the University of St Thomas in Minneapolis. Before jumping into commercial real estate brokerage, David had a successful career in software sales.
His first few years in the brokerage business were spent at Marcus & Millichap, a large national commercial real estate firm. He learned the fundamentals of multifamily brokerage and was recognized as a leader.
His first year he earned the Rookie of the Year award. In his second year, he earned the Rising Star award. In his third year, he made the Top Ten producers list in his office.
By the end of his fourth year, he sourced and closed $30M in sales volume and his network was growing. He began to get the idea to start an independent firm. At the end of 2023, he took the leap and MFI Realty was born.
